Custom Reed Valve Cage 4 SS2 or F1ZR...

This is for those out there who wants to upgrade you're ride, SS2(in malaysia) or F1ZR(in Indonesia, Thailand and some others) bike, which is the same bike but called differently in different places. Not many people modifies SS2 or F1ZR nowadays since its an old bike and most people go for Four Stroke bikes... Changing d original reed valve to a bigger ones increases the performance of the bike by certain percentage... by the feel of it, it does have a big difference... performance increases drastically... most people use RXZ/125zr reed valve, which both of them is just the same... i don't know if there's other reed valve that can be used....

the right is the original reed valve...

fitting in d reed valve of these bikes requires some modification... procedures of doing so will be provided in this post... :P... but u need all the tools and materials required to make to make this customized reed cage... procedures of doing so will be explained in this post...hehehhe... :P

actually there's ready made for this modification(only one picture available for this item)... but its hard to get nowadays plus its damn expensive... :S... around RM4oo... and the cost for me to making mine is lesser than RM100... BIG DIFFERENCE!!! :P

he comes the procedures of making ur own reed cage...

wat u need is aluminium sheets(RM10 depends on where you get them from)



file bits... impact drill... vice grip... and whatever things that needed and as seen in the pictures later on..



but before that u need to do some measurements and make a template...



some holes drilled on the aluminium sheets according to the template...
must be damn precise btw...



drill holes to in the middle for the sheets and remove the middle piece...
btw before doing this, all the holes the was drilled on earlier on must be aligned properly and super straight... :P



after removing the middle piece, the edges will be uneven... it must be even and smooth... use the File Bit to file through the uneven parts...

next is to bind all those pieces together with a Metal epoxy... get the slow setting epoxy... coz it is bonds stronger....

this is what u get once u've stick them together... btw this is only the lower piece...
its just the same procedure for the middle piece...



the two piece on the right should be sticked together with the top left piece... which will make the middle piece... :)...



this is what u get once the is done and after sending it to the machinery shop to lathe (for super flat surface to avoid leakage) and make thread for the screws. ... it was around RM30 for that... next is to refine the outer sides...



the bottom piece screwed onto the engine... and the middle pice placed on top of the bottom piece...



the reed valve installed in... :)



the intake manifold installed... its basically a curved pipe welded on a flat square metal sheet... :)



carburetor installed... btw its not the stock carburetor... this is 34mm KOSO Racing Carburetor,,, which increases the peformance quite a lot as well... the stock carburetor is just 20mm throttle opening... 14mm difference... planing to get a 38mm Keihin Racing Carburetor... but i need to wait for that since its kinda expensive... :P

Well... this is only one part of the modification needed to achieve top speed out of a small engine... i've been through 200km/h on my bike with additional of some other modification to the engine... which i might probably post it next time... and going that speed for only short distance drag race... 400 meters... maximum is for 1 km... i dont dare go further than that coz i dont want my engine to blow... :S... good luck for those who wants to make this item... :)...

The Making of The Mask!!!!!!

Prom is another week to come... or 6 days to be exact... organized by KBU Student Council at One World Hotel... and the Theme is Masquerade!!! :P... well... don't really want to get a mask from the shops and having chances of people wearing the same mask as i do... i don't want that to happen so i've decided to make my own mask... well... at 1st i don't really know how to make the base of the mask... so i went to One Utama to get my mask.... it's at the lower ground floor next to a camera shop at the old wing... there's a lot of mask to chose from there... but i went and get just the basic one...

the mask somehow looks like a cartoon character "The Spawn"... :P... slightly similar actually... the idea was actually just keep the shape of the mask and stitch leather onto the mask... the leather i'm using is dark brown... and i was thinking of using white strings to stitch them... but then it will be so obvious if theres some stitching mistake that i've done with it... so instead i used black strings... :)... one more thing... i'm going to make the mask more mysterious.. i attached my old shades onto the mask... when wearing the mask, my eyes wont be exposed... wahahhaa..>!!! :P.... but then the outcome of the mask somehow looks like a superhero mask... :S... but then it will be unique... :P...

since its kinda hard to just pierce the needle through for stitching...

stating with the eye!!! it took me close to an hour just to finish an eye... :S.... btw... i need plier to push and pull the needles as well.. even though there's hole that i poke earlier on, still its very hard to do just with bare fingers... :S

attached the shades into the mask... and cut off the extra leather at the sides... :P

i took me more than an hour to finish up the forehead... same goes to the cheek and nose part...

fuhh!!! took me at least 6 hours to finish up this mask,.. i didn't finish it up all in one day... not a robot to do this all in 6 hours straight... been doing this mask for 3 days... :P... its damn tiring stitching it... :S... but i guess it turned out great...

10 Two 10 Outing...

Planned for a movie outing and some pool party that day on saturday... there's 11 of us went for movie... Eunice, Kerina, Danny Lo, Kaartig, Vicky, Danny Siah, Ben, Diva, Steven lau, Kimmei and Shen Khan(not sure if i spelled correctly... :P)... we were suppose to gather at GSC at 10am... but only me and ben reached there 1st... eunice and danny lo said they are around but still walkin around the mall 1st since most of them haven't arrive yet.. :P... everyone reached there at close to 11...

Didn't actually had a decision on what movie to watch that day... it was either Legend of the Fist, The Hole, The Legend of the Guardian, and some other... we split in to two groups since one group wanna watch Legend of the fist, and the other want to watch The Hole... :P i'm with d one watching The Hole... after we got the ticket, we all went to Burger King for breakfast since d movie is another half an hour more to start and most of us were hungry... :P... then off we go for the movie!!! wohhooO!!!....

well... the movie(The Hole) was not bad... but one thing is that someone in d group (vicky) keeps on laughing for no reason in d cinema while watching the movie... no idea whats wrong with him... gone crazy already i think... wahahhaha.. :P (jangan marah ye).... i've watched Legend of the Fist as well... i like the fighting scene... and bruce lee moves and shouting as how bruce lee does in d ending fight with d japenese komando or something... of cause the hero wins right,... hahaha... well u need to watch it to know more bout the movies... :P....

after movie... we all went to play bowling... i mean some of us... i only did one throw... hahaha... almost a strike though... :P... they continued playing while me, kimmei, Steven lau, and kerina went for lunch... i ony teman them since they havent eat yet.. we stop by at some shop and found sumthng interesting to buy as a gift for kartig (forgot to say that it was Kaartig's birthday on dat day as well).... which was a tie from some shop in OU... dun wanna tell which shop since kartig might read this as well... hehehe... got it wrapped and planned to give him during the pool party later on that day... then we went to this restaurant to makan which i cant remember the name of it... we just noticed that birthday boy/girl will get one big jug/barrel/bucket of drink there for all to share... :).. so we called kartig to hurry up and join us so that we can get the free drink... wahahhahaa...

btw at this momment some of them left dy... eunice, danny lo, and diva... they should have stayed and joined for the whole thing... including the pool party later on,.. :P... once everyone is done with eating and drinking free drinks,,, all of us went to Pelangi Utama, where we all going to have this pool party... :P wohhoO!!! at this moment some more people joining... :) michelle chua, janice, ranjie, samaan, sophty, dameli, and some other's... we went through some complication with this fussy gay guard bastard guarding the pool as if we were going to steal the pool from there... wahahhaha.... i wasn't actually pleased with his so called rules... since most of us don't want to cause any problems, so we just have to follow... :S.... i have to just wear my briefs to able to swim that time... or else i would have just wear my shorts... which actually is fine with all of the pool that i've been to... same goes with some waterpark that ive been to as well... hmmm... ignored the so called complication and just have fun...!!! wooohhhoOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

made my first jump with a flip... hehehehhe... :P... then everyone went into the pool except for some of them.... but at least they were there as well... hehehe... :P... some challenge going on... holding breath in d water d longest, dive the furthest in one breath... and some other games... :)... it was fun!!! :).... btw steven gave the gift to kaartig around this time... :)... janice did as welll... not sure bout the rest... forgotten already... hehehe... :)... i bet its d best day for kaartig since it was his birthday and all this awsomenessity goin on as well...:P... i could only dream of celebrating my birthday somehow close to how he was having that day... i would be the happiest man alive it did happen.... in this kind of scenario laa.. heheheh... :P....

after swimming done with everything... some of us went to al-safa for dinner... it was around 8pm at that moment... :P.... william chen joined us as well that time... too bad he didnt join us before that,.. all the things going on in OU and pool party stuff... :P... we talked bout a lot of stuff and joking around... we were there close to 2 hours... i'm sure they didn't notice that we were there for that long... hahaha... coz we went back around 10pm dat nite... stated at 10am and ends at 10... hahahahahhaha....!!!!!!!!!!!! :P...
